Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a dynamic finance team in Fresno, CA. All that is required is two years of general accounting experience such as AP and a bachelor's degree focused in accounting. The ideal candidate will support month-end close processes, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with financial reporting to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
