Senior Accountant

Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role involves managing complex accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support external audits and regulatory reporting requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
