Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations within a fast-paced food processing environment. This role is ideal for an early‑career accounting professional looking to build hands-on experience in cost accounting, inventory, and manufacturing accounting processes while supporting month-end close and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable, including data entry and reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance
• Assist with inventory tracking, production costing, and COGS support
• Participate in month-end close, financial reporting, and account analysis
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and balance sheet accounts
• Maintain accurate financial records and support internal controls and audits

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing)
• 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience preferred
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
