Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who is looking to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a collaborative environment.

The Junior Accountant will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position works closely with the accounting team to ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of financial statements and reports
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
• Review financial data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with audits and provide requested documentation
• Maintain organized accounting records and files

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 0–2 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with accounting software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
