Stardom Employment Consultants is hiring a Cost Accountant to support a growing organization with cost analysis, inventory valuation, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone analytical, detail‑oriented, and experienced in cost accounting within manufacturing, agriculture, or production‑based environments.

Position Overview

The Cost Accountant will be responsible for analyzing production costs, monitoring inventory, and supporting budgeting and financial reporting to help management make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor product and operational costs
• Maintain accurate cost records and inventory valuation
• Prepare and review cost reports, variances, and margin analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and standard cost updates
• Reconcile inventory, WIP, and cost of goods sold accounts
• Partner with operations and management to improve cost controls
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close related to cost accounting
• Support audits and provide cost documentation as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory accounting
• Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or production environments preferred
• Proficient in Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
