Stardom Employment Consultants is seeking an experienced Controller for a client company in the Fresno, CA area. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all accounting operations and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a detail-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strategic financial insight to the table.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes with efficiency and accuracy
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and growth
• Partner with senior leadership to provide financial analysis and support strategic decision-making

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA designation strongly preferred
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and present complex financial data
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
• Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or a similarly complex industry is a plus
