ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a well-established organization in the Fresno area. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process while ensuring accuracy and timely payment to vendors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner

Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for proper three-way matching

Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a professional manner

Maintain organized and up-to-date records for audit and reporting purposes

Communicate with vendors and internal departments to address payment inquiries

Assist with month-end close activities including accruals and AP aging reports

QUALIFICATIONS

2 or more years of accounts payable or general accounting experience

Solid understanding of AP processes, general ledger coding, and accruals

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a high volume of transactions

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Effective communication skills for vendor and team interaction

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
