Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join a dynamic team in the Fresno area. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Key Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with company procedures
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation
Support the preparation of financial reports and internal audits
Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments to resolve billing or payment discrepancies
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
2 or more years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and spreadsheet management
