Stardom Employment Consultants is hiring an experienced Accounting Specialist to support a growing organization. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview

The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, reconciliations, and supporting month-end close while maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable including invoice review, coding, and payment processing
• Manage accounts receivable including invoicing, cash application, and collections
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end close and basic financial reporting
• Resolve discrepancies and communicate with vendors and customers as needed
• Support the accounting team with additional projects and administrative tasks

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience (AP/AR or general accounting)
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
