Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our client's finance team with essential day-to-day accounting functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and organization. You will play a key part in keeping financial records up to date and ensuring smooth operations across the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a regular basis
- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting
- Review and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests
- Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems for financial documents
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Basic understanding of general accounting principles and practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
