Stardom Employment Consultants is hiring an Accounting Clerk to support a busy accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling clerical accounting tasks while learning and growing within the accounting function.
Position Overview
The Accounting Clerk will assist with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks, primarily supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general office accounting duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Enter invoices, payments, and financial data accurately
- Perform basic reconciliations and support month-end activities
- File, scan, and maintain organized financial records
- Assist with check runs, mail, and electronic payments
- Respond to internal requests and support the accounting team as needed
- Perform general clerical and administrative accounting tasks
Qualifications
- 1+ year of accounting or clerical experience preferred
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Comfortable with data entry and working in Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Organized with good time management skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction
